World Weather Incorporated Senior Agricultural Meteorologist Drew Lerner says mild temperatures won’t stick around much longer. Seasonably warm temperatures are expected through the end of August. “While conditions have been good in the eastern parts of the Dakotas, it has not been great out in the west. It’s been warmer and drier,” says Lerner. “The areas that are too dry will be looking for more rains and I don’t see much change happening before September.”
