The Governor’s Ag Innovation Forum at South Dakota’s Dakotafest featured a panel that delved into markets and challenges of different segments of the ag industry. South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem said she’s making energy prices a priority. “One of the biggest issues that farmers are struggling with is energy costs and it’s not only energy, it’s supply chain issues and everything else that impacts their input costs.” Noem says governmental oversight and new regulations present more hurdles for farmers.
