A California federal judge rejected a policy change made by the Trump Administration in 2019. Economic factors will no longer be considered when determining if a species should be listed as threatened or endangered. The Sierra Club, Earthjustice and other environmental groups filed the lawsuit and are praising the judge’s decision.
