Bower Trading market analyst Ben Kasch says a wetter weather forecast started the sell off. “This is an important time for crop production and it was a very interesting end to June. There’s been a risk-off mode for the funds.” Recession concerns are a factor. “I think it’s also the technicals.” The grain markets are closed due to the Independence Day holiday. Kasch says traders will be all about weather when the markets reopen on Tuesday.
