NDSU Extension and Eighth Avenue Foods and Provisions hosted Durum Day at the Carrington Research Extension Center. Cropping Systems Specialist Greg Endres says goal of durum research is provide a consistent quality and supply of durum to pasta makers. Research into management strategies, variety and disease management are designed to enhance the quality of durum. “We are focusing on ways to help existing durum growers, but also, entice new durum growers and help them be successful.”
