The reopening of Ukrainian ports for grain exports is apparently on the table. During a meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the removal of mines and safe navigation for shippers. Russia would reportedly work with Turkey to make this happen. If sanctions were lifted, Putin said Russia would also export a significant amount of fertilizer and agricultural products. Meanwhile, Russian military forces have taken over another key city in eastern Ukraine in its effort to take over the Donbas region.
