The Biden Administration is getting different opinions about the Section 301 tariffs imposed on China. A bipartisan group of senators, including North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer, is urging the White House to keep these tariffs in place and enforce the phase one trade agreement. Meanwhile, a coalition of 40 ag groups wants the administration to suspend, reduce or eliminate these tariffs. Farmers for Free Trade says this change would open market access for U.S. agriculture and reduce costs for farm equipment, fertilizer and crop inputs.
