Secretary of State Antony Blinken claims Russia is using food as a weapon in its war against Ukraine. In a speech before the United Nations Security Council, Blinken said Russia is also holding the food supply “hostage” by blocking exports from Ukrainian ports. Ukraine exported 643,000 tons of grain since the beginning of May. That compares to nearly 2 million tons during the same period last year.
