Clean-up continues for the farmers and ranchers affected by the derecho event. Brookings County, South Dakota farmer David Iverson won’t forget the wall of dirt that moved through in the storm. “The fields were muddy, so I don’t know where the dirt came from. We lost trees along with a 100-year-old barn. It’s a piece of history that will be lost forever.” Iverson says clean-up will likely be drawn out over the next few weeks. Photo credit: David Iverson
