Walt Bones will be honored with the Governor’s Ag Ambassador Award during the Ag Summit June 22 in Brookings. Bones was South Dakota’s secretary of agriculture from 2011-to-2013 and continues to operate a diversified crop and livestock farm near Parker, South Dakota.
