Minnesota Governor Tim Walz signed an executive order Friday extending a trucking waiver for poultry haulers helping stop the spread of bird flu. Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza continues to be a challenge for Minnesota’s poultry industry. Since late March, HPAI has been confirmed in 60 sites and almost 20 counties in the state. More than 2.7 million birds have been impacted by the virus.
