During the South Dakota convention, National FFA Eastern Region Vice President Mallory White conducted a workshop on the ability to impact agriculture. “I used to get caught up in what I can do to impact agriculture while not producing a physical product and that’s what my workshop teaches students.” White emphasized FFA is more than cows, plows, and sows. “I think it’s important to explain to people that producers are what built agriculture and FFA, but we’re also working to raise up innovations and technology in agriculture.”
