The Minnesota House has passed the omnibus agriculture, broadband and housing supplemental bill with a vote of 70-to-62. The bill includes $4.5 million for emergency response and preparedness, which can be used to deal with the current avian flu outbreak. There’s more than $24 million for soil health and research and $5.2 million to address the shortage of livestock processing. A conference committee will need to work out the differences with the Senate bill.
