According to the Humane Society of the United States, McDonald’s is making false and misleading claims about hog production. The animal activist group filed a complaint Friday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. McDonald’s claims they are ending the practice. HSUS says the company is only reducing the amount of time pigs spend in crates.
