South Dakota’s Board of Water and Natural Resources approved more than $430 million in grants and loans to rural water systems across the state. This is part of the more than $1.1 billion in statewide funding approved by the board. The Brookings-Deuel Rural Water System is one of the recipients, with a $5 million loan and $2.1 million grant to address low pressures on the upstream side of the Henry Booster Pump Station and the Crocker Ground Storage Reservoir.
