A Lake Park, Minnesota farmer pleaded guilty to crop insurance fraud. Kevan Jon Nelson was sentenced to supervised release and ordered to pay fines and restitution of $570,000. Nelson has also agreed to forfeit eligibility for any USDA farm program or crop insurance.
