The Senate has confirmed Christy Goldsmith Romero, Kristin Johnson, Caroline Pham and Summer Mersinger as commissioners to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Mersinger previously served as the chief of staff for South Dakota Senator John Thune. Most recently, Mersinger was the chief of staff for outgoing CFTC Commissioner Dawn Stump.
