During 2021, the average Minnesota farm in the state farm business management program spent $2.5 million in their communities for crop and livestock production and family living expenses. Net farm income statewide averaged more than $267,000. That’s an increase of 54 percent from 2020 and it was at its highest level in seven years. The new summary report represents information from nearly 2,300 farms.
