The United States and the United Kingdom are expected to begin preliminary talks about a trade and investment agreement this week. U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai and her U.K counterpart are scheduled to meet in Baltimore, Maryland today and tomorrow with a second session in the U.K. in the coming months.
