Amid supply chain issues, Red River Sugar Beet Growers Association Executive Director Harrison Weber says the sugar industry is faring well. “We’ve seen many challenges these last couple of years, including the COVID pandemic. We’ve been able to move the lever from bulk to consumer sugar. Even with supply chain issues, we were able to put sugar bags on the shelf.” Weber attended the International Sugarbeet Institute this past week.
