Carbon sequestration got a lot of attention at the National Association of Wheat Growers’ Climate Sustainability Committee meeting during the Commodity Classic. Committee Chairman Derek Jackson recognizes there are many differing views of carbon sequestration in the wheat industry. “We’d like to see the government involved to standardize the measurement process. For the carbon discussion to have a meaningful path forward, there has to be uniformity in how it’s measured.”
