U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai discussed the complicated relationship between the U.S. and China during the final day of the USDA’s Ag Outlook Forum. “China is a rival, a competitor, but it also is a partner in areas where we can establish that kind of trust.” China fell short of agricultural and non-agricultural purchase agreements with the United States.
