A coalition of North Dakota and Minnesota farm groups is asking the EPA and Army Corps of Engineers to reconsider their new definition for Waters of the United States. An expansion of the WOTUS definition would “impact farmers’ ability to produce food, fiber and fuel to the country confidently and manage water on cropland effectively.” The ag groups want EPA to adopt USDA standards for wetland delineations and prior converted cropland determinations.
