Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack says $177 billion in ag exports were sold this past year, breaking the previous record by more than 14 percent. “The record that was set in 2013 when I was Secretary before was surpassed in 2021 and it is anticipated that the record will be broken again this year.” U.S. agriculture had a $6.5 billion trade surplus this past year.
