Thousands of trucks rolled into Ottawa, Canada this weekend to protest COVID-19 vaccine mandates. Rules were established earlier this month preventing truckers from crossing the border into Canada unless they are fully vaccinated. The U.S. has similar rules for cross-border truckers from Canada. Smaller protests were held in other parts of Canada, including Winnipeg. Meanwhile, North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring is asking the White House to drop its vaccine mandate for truckers coming to the U.S. from Canada.
