Minnesota Governor Tim Walz released his bonding and capital investment recommendations for the upcoming legislative session. For rural Minnesota, this plan includes $120 million for local bridges, $90 million for local roads, $10 million for permanent easements to improve water quality and wildlife habitat and $2 million for regional and shortline railroads. The proposal also includes $377,000 to renovate the potato inspection facility in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.
