A Forest River, North Dakota farm is suing John Deere over the right to repair their own equipment. Forest River Farms is the plaintiff in this proposed class action lawsuit, which claims John Deere dealerships are not able to sell proprietary software tools to farmers or independent repair shops. The lawsuit claims Deere is an ‘illegal monopoly.’
