Virginia farmer David Hula is a repeat winner of the National Corn Yield Contest. Hula’s entry topped 603 bushels per acre in the no-till irrigated division. The overall state winners include Chris Sobeck of Winona, Minnesota with 309 bushels per acre. Betty Huber of Berlin, North Dakota had the top yield statewide just shy of 300 bushels per acre. For South Dakota, Bob Creasey of Geddes yielded 318 bushels per acre to win the state contest.
