In a Northern Crops Institute webinar, NDSU Extension Crops Economist Frayne Olson said Brazil’s soybean harvest is unusually early this year. “My concern from the United States perspective is that may shorten our export window, not nearly as long as last year or even on a typical basis. U.S. soybeans are going to need to be more aggressive to compete with the soybeans coming out of Brazil.”
