The Canadian government is investing up to $5.1 million for Buffalo Creek Mills to purchase and install new equipment in its Altona, Manitoba plant. A customized continuous oat kiln will allow Buffalo Creek Mills to further process oats for use as conventional food ingredients and the creation of emerging oat products. Byproducts will be repurposed for animal feed and biofuels.
