At the same time the EPA announced its blending requirements, the USDA released more details about their COVID relief plan for the biofuels industry. USDA is providing $800 million to support biofuels producers and infrastructure. The majority of that money will be used for pandemic relief and the application window will open in the next week. The remaining $100 million will be used to increase the sales and use of higher blends of bioethanol and biodiesel by expanding infrastructure for renewable fuels. Read more.
