With funds from the bipartisan infrastructure law, the USDA is making an investment of $633 million to reduce climate change impacts in rural communities. Five programs will get funding. There’s more than $3 million in grants given in the Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program to biofuel producers in California, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas and Michigan. There’s also $34.3 million available in grants going to farmers, ranchers and companies across the country in the Rural Energy for America Program.
