After CF Industries filed a complaint that UAN imports from Russia, Trinidad and Tobago are unfairly subsidized, the U.S. Department of Commerce recommended countervailing duties on fertilizers from those countries. The National Corn Growers Association is disappointed with that decision. NCGA said farmers shouldn’t have to pay for disputes between American fertilizer companies and foreign producers.
