The North Dakota Agricultural Products Utilization Commission grant program is being used for six projects totaling more than $462,000. Included in the funding is $38,299 to NDSU’s Department of Plant Sciences to conduct research with a novel sorting machine to sort soybeans based on their physicochemical composition and improve the quality of final products. AIC Energy Corp., was awarded $60,000 to offset costs associated with licensing for a new patent pending technology process that will allow more flexibility with new equipment that will be used to refine sustainable aviation and renewable diesel fuels.
