The wheat complex has been leading the grain markets higher for much of the week. Martinson Ag Risk Management President Randy Martinson says global concern over tight wheat supplies has been the driver. “We saw a two percent decline in winter wheat conditions. We’ve also seen drier conditions. There are fundamental reasons to see the wheat markets hold fundamental gains right now.” Even a lower start to the wheat market Tuesday morning gave way to higher trade as weather forecasts durned slightly drier. “The wheat market slowly gained its way back.”
