Union workers rejected the latest contract offer from Deere and Company and the strike will continue. Deere offered a ten percent wage increase, an $8,500 ratification bonus and agreed to keep a pension option available for new employees. At the 12 John Deere plants, 55 percent of the workers voted against the proposed contract.
