Most of the fall fieldwork is complete in the Roseau, Minnesota area. Richard Magnusson says crops were widely variable. “Crops were generally better than expected, but there were some pretty low expectations with as dry as it was.” Magnusson has not made many cropping decisions for 2022. “The markets are pretty wild, especially with some of the specialty crops, and the other big factor is what is happening with fertilizer prices.”
