The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is withdrawing two changes made to the Endangered Species Act. The rule changes adjusted the definition of ‘habitat’ and were made during the final days of the Trump presidency. The previous administration said the endangered species designation did not give enough consideration to the economic impact on agriculture and the energy industries.
