Reflecting on the sugarbeet harvest, Grand Forks farmer Paul Sproule made a comparison to the story of Goldilocks. “It’s been too hot, too cold and too wet.” Sproule’s attention will now shift to corn. “The test weights look decent; we had really dry corn and then we got those rains and picked up some moisture.” Yields will be highly variable.
