A Lake Park, Minnesota farmer has agreed to plead guilty to crop insurance fraud. A plea agreement teleconference hearing for Kevan Nelson is scheduled to take place today. The Department of Justice alleges Nelson falsely reported losses in 2018 and 2019 to get crop insurance payments totaling nearly $550,000.
