Compared to one year ago, U.S. tractor sales rose ten percent in August. The articulated four-wheel drive tractor segment led the way with a 40 percent increase in sales. Combine sales grew by just under 20 percent. The Association of Equipment Manufacturers said these sales reflect the optimism now seen in agriculture.
