Supporters of the Raven Precision Agriculture Center took a closer look on Saturday in Brookings, South Dakota. “We had a campus luncheon for those who made a real difference in the facility,” said Barry Dunn, president, South Dakota State University. “Governor Noem and former Governor Daugaard attended the event.” The $46 million Raven Precision Agriculture Center took two years to build. That’s on top of four years of planning, fundraising and getting statewide support. Dunn says there will be an enormous amount of research done in the new building, along with agronomic outreach and education. “With the work being done in this new facility, sustainability will be enhanced with improved decision making and farmers can be more profitable as a result.”
