There were big smiles at Buchanan, North Dakota because it was raining to start the second day of the Red River Farm Network Crop Tour presented by Pioneer. Plainview Seed and Agronomy’s Matt Carlson says this moisture “is definitely going to give us kernel length and test weight.” Carlson sees a huge advantage for the longer maturity hybrids and varieties because they can take advantage of these late rains.
