The Minnesota Department of Agriculture has money available for livestock farmers and ranchers to improve their operations. Up to $1.3 million dollars will be awarded through the Agricultural Growth, Research and Innovation Livestock Investment Grant program. There will be two rounds of funding, with the first round in the fall. The application process for remaining funds will open in the winter or spring. Farmers are eligible for grant awards from $400 to $25,000. First round proposals are due on Wednesday, November 17. Click here for more details.
