With no end in sight for the drought, Reinke Manufacturing Northcentral Territory Manager Vernon Hinnenkamp is seeing strong interest in a central pivot. “There’s big demand for irrigation and NRCS is working with farmers to help them get into irrigation at a reasonable cost.” Hinnenkamp says a sprinkler package can be customized for a specific crop or application. “The sprinkler package is the most important part of the whole pivot. You can have a gold-plated pivot and it’s not as important as the sprinkler package.”
