The Kansas City Southern Railway postponed Thursday’s shareholder vote on Canadian National’s $33.6 billion takeover bid. The Surface Transportation Board is expected to make its decision about CN’s proposed use of a voting trust as part of its acquisition by the end of the month. Rival Canadian Pacific Railway is betting the STB will not approve the CN deal and has offered $31 billion for the Kansas City Southern.
