Northeastern North Dakota received some timely rains last week, but M.R. Consulting owner Mark Ramsey says rainfall amounts were widely variable. “The rains will help finish the row crops and certainly give a boost to the sugarbeets, but the small grains are done.” Ramsey says quality of the small grains harvested in the area has been very good. “However, the yields are lower.”
