Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem have sent a joint letter to the Biden Administration, saying higher-octane ethanol could have a role in country’s climate and public health plans. The letter said the expanded use of ethanol now would reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve air quality. Walz chairs the Governors’ Biofuels Coalition and Noem is the vice chair.
