A federal judge in South Carolina will allow the Navigable Waters Protection Rule to remain in place until the Biden Administration attempts to revise the language. Environmental activists wanted the courts to vacate the rule. National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Chief Environmental Counsel Scott Yager said this decision protects private property rights and ensures regulatory certainty during the lengthy rulemaking process.
