With hot and dry weather, University of Minnesota crop scouts have not found any scab, leaf rust or bacterial leaf streak in the small grains. Tan spot has been found to a limited degree. Entomologist Ian MacRae with the Northwest Research and Outreach Center says the number of soybean aphids is increasing. There’s also been a small uptick in potato aphids.
